Love- A Poem

Love is joining hearts.

Most of my life is spent apart.

It’s hard for me to be a friend.

Have autism that never ends.

It keeps me chained inside my mind.

Without a way out for others to find.

Fragmented pieces of myself I try to show.

Please put them together so you may know

I love.

I love to be loved.

  10. As I sit here stressed about my autistic non verbal son's future , I read your poem and for a moment stress melted away! Wonder if I could ask the same from you as the person above ! My son has about 4 independent signs from ask language, the rest he knows are imitated and he has no other form or was to communicate! I have a million questions to better understand him so I can help him !
